This absolutely adorable little cub is a real companion for any age–even adult (as I am!) His movements and sounds are so life-like it’s almost unbelievable. He takes 3 “C” batteries, but they’ll last forever (a long time)My only slight criticism is that I wish, among all the sounds he makes, including burps and hiccups, that he would make a little poopie, too, just as a small baby would. I saw a small cub in the film, A Bear Named Winnie, that made a liquid-sounding small burst of gas before he let go with his “poopie” on a train, with the soldier who bought him at a fair. That would be ever so cute!! A burpie, then a little “poopie”! Now, THAT would make him absolutely life-like indeed! Maybe, in the future a “poopie” (gas sound) will be includied among his sounds: sigh, hiccups, burp, etc. Then, we can comfort him more when he gets alittle scared at his own “sound” and when his little tummy aches from too much milk. Poor baby! He’ll get an extra hug to comfort his l’il tummy! Cubbies do pass gas; so this would be more realistic.
